I am immensely proud to have been appointed as Chair of ESPRIT Multi Academy Trust, which formally came into being on the 1st September 2017 when Northwood Broom Community School, Hamilton Infants School and Grove Junior School formed the Academy Trust. As Trustees, we have very high expectations of everyone in our school community. We are uncompromising in holding children at the centre of everything we do and it is our ambition to ensure ALL of our children reach their full potential.
We aim to nurture an inclusive learning community, allowing children to achieve their true potential, equipping them to become active and responsible members of the community in the ever-changing world in which we live.
As Trustees, we seek to ensure that when we visit any of our schools we promote the ESPRIT Values and Mission Statement where learning is MAGIC and ‘Extra Special Pupils Receive Inspirational Teaching’. In ESPRIT academies, we are delighted to encounter both children and staff that demonstrate these high values and the strong work ethic we expect of all.
It is the job of the Members and Trustees, to set the vision and strategic direction for the trust and to hold the executive to account for the standards of education, care and pupil outcomes. We must ensure that financial management is efficient. We are also strongly committed to fulfilling our statutory safeguarding and child protection responsibilities, ensuring that the schools keep our pupils safe.
