The ESPRIT Multi-Academy Trust seeks to ensure that its academies maintain an objective and rigorous focus on raising standards in order that all their children receive high quality teaching every day.

The curriculum is a skills-based, integrated curriculum, which aims to give every child the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Within this approach each school in our Trust delivers the national curriculum and their school curriculum which are tailored to meet the needs and interests of their children (see curriculum statements on individual Academy websites).

In all our academies we promote a calm, safe, learning environment underpinned by a positive behaviour policy and nurturing ethos.

Although learning aims to be active and fun, from an early age pupils are taught how to work independently and return to a place of calm reflection and manage their own emotions.

Inclusion

The ESPRIT Multi-Academy Trust academies are non-selective learning communities that value the abilities and achievements of all their pupils. All staff are committed to going the extra mile and providing for every child the best possible environment for learning. Our recognition of the entitlement of all pupils to a balanced, integrated curriculum reinforces the need for teaching that is fully inclusive. We support our staff through a skilled Central Inclusion team that remains focused on quality first teaching as a basic entitlement for every pupil. This team exists to support and coach staff, thereby supporting pupils.

Releasing Potential

All ESPRIT Multi-Academy Trust staff are considered to be leaders. In our organisation “Leadership is a Behaviour not a Position”. It is the duty and responsibility of all Trust Employees to drive their Academy improvement agenda.

The ESPRIT Multi-Academy Trust is committed to investing in its workforce. Our Trust Mantra has always been to ‘to grow our own– love the ones we’ve got’ employing staff at the beginning of their careers and investing in them so that they become high-calibre, confident and brave professionals.

Providing professional development and promoting clear succession planning opportunities across the ESPRIT Multi-Academy Trust is a way of recruiting and retaining the best staff.

A Well Maintained Physical Environment

Children and staff of ESPRIT Academies deserve to work in a well-maintained physical environment. We will invest in creating first class environments for a first class education.

Consistency of Approach

Involvement in The ESPRIT Multi-Academy Trust requires that partner Academies maintain consistency within their own organisations and across the Trust. Good communication and sharing of best practice for the greater good is crucial.

The ESPRIT Multi-Academy Trust seeks to ensure that its academies have high expectations of pupils, parents and staff and maintain a relentless and rigorous focus on raising standards in order that all their children receive high quality teaching every day. Assessment is consistent and ensures that pupil’s learning moves on.
